When you create an account we collect your email address and chosen username. When you use the service we process the resume files and job descriptions you submit, along with usage metadata such as screening counts and timestamps.

We use your data to provide and improve the RecruiterLens service, including:

• Authenticating your account and managing sessions.
• Processing resumes against job descriptions using our AI matching engine.
• Displaying your screening history and usage statistics.
• Sending transactional emails such as account verification.

Uploaded resume files are processed in memory and are not stored permanently on our servers. Screening results (match scores, skills, summaries) are retained based on your plan: Free plan users can access their 3 most recent screenings, while Pro plan users have unlimited history retention.

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
• DeepSeek AI — resume-to-job matching analysis.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — application hosting.

Each provider processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We use essential cookies to manage authentication sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@recruiterlens.com. You can also delete your screening history directly from the application.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the service.
